Getting in isn't very hard, and you will find once you're here that the academic competition isn't very high. there are some very brilliant people, but it also seems like in the more challenging classes almost half of the students eventually drop the class and have to take it over again

Getting in was pretty simple for me. I did well enough on my ACT and had decent grades. I got a 26,27,26,29 on my ACT tests, with a super score of 31. My weighted GPA was 3.5. I don't even think there was an essay. University Park has rolling admissions, which is very nice.

About getting into University Park, it's pretty easy as long as you have a 3.5 GPA and above. The essay was a little important, and I don't think extra curricular work is even factored.
